We consider it our primary responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of the personal data you provide and to protect it against unauthorised access. For this reason, we apply the utmost care and state-of-the-art security standards to ensure adequate protection of your personal data.

Collection and storage of personal data as well as the nature and purpose of its use

When you access our website the browser used on your device automatically sends information to our website server. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected automatically (without any action on your part) and stored until it is deleted automatically:

  • IP address of the requesting device,
  • date and time of access,
  • name and URL of the retrieved file,
  • website from which access is made (referrer URL),
  • browser used and, if applicable, your device’s operating system, as well as the name of your internet service provider.

We process the above data for the following purposes:

  • ensuring a smooth connection setup of the website,
  • ensuring convenient use of our website,
  • evaluating system security and stability, and
  • further administrative purposes.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes listed above. Under no circumstances do we use the collected data to draw conclusions about your identity.

Contacting us

If you have questions of any kind, you may contact us via a form provided on the website or by email. For this purpose, providing a valid email address, first name, last name, telephone number and a message text is required so that we know who the enquiry is from, what it concerns, and so that we can respond. Providing a telephone number may be done voluntarily.

Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, based on your voluntarily granted consent. The personal data collected through the contact form will be manually deleted after your enquiry has been processed. Your details submitted via the contact form will be sent to us by email and stored for the purpose of handling your request.

Retention period

We process your personal data—where required and necessary for the agreed purposes—for the duration of the contractual relationship with you and/or for the period necessary for administration. Beyond this, processing is carried out only insofar as this corresponds to statutory limitation periods and/or statutory retention and documentation obligations, as well as in cases where a legitimate interest exists (including, but not limited to, liability matters and legal disputes).

Data security

During your visit to the website, we use the widely adopted SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. You can recognise whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed key/lock symbol displayed in the status bar of your browser.

We also implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

Cookies are small text files that store information about the website visitor on the user’s computer. They are downloaded by your web browser when you first visit a website. The following cookies are used:

Right to object

In the latter case, you have a general right to object which will be implemented by us without requiring reasons related to your particular situation.
